I also picked up some older games for playstation that run in my ps2. mainly fighting force, tekken 3, battle arena toshinden, and um jammer lammy which is part of the parappa the rapper series.

i'm a big fan of Metal Gear Solid. I've beat the first one for the Playstation by myself. But the second and third installments require a little help.

By mainstream do you just mean console games? Or any game that was designed for the public that you like playing. I'm asking because: (1) I'm not accustomed to these words "Mainstream Game" in this context. (2) I personally enjoy games on the pc that you can go to your local Wal-mart and buy, and, (3) I don't own a console...Wish I did, but the one I got xmas 2006 as a gift ended up not working...

I'm currently switching between Ratchett & Clank, Colin McRae Dirt, Motorstorm and Go Puzzle on the PS3 (short attention span? Me?!) I also like Burnout Legends on PSP when I remember I have it lol

I have tne MAME Arcade Game Emulator on my PC cos I still love playing the old classics that I used to stand in front of and pump my dinner money into, like R-Type, Bubble Bobble, Outrun, Hyper Sports and Twin Cobra.

I used to play a lot of games on the old apple and dos pc, but no more vission now!

I play Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Darkstalkers, Virtua fighter, and Bloody Roar. I also like playing games on the wii, because those games are more interactive. Most of the ones I play on the wii are sports games like bowling and baseball.

Dawson if you were referring to me then yes, I have sight so I can play those games fine.

I would like to play on a Wii but wouldn't buy one because the distance I'd have to be from the screen while moving around would make it harder to see. Unless I had a 60-inch TV! Or a projector, hey, I wonder how much they cost ...?

Dusty's off to check online ...

I loooove tekken. I just bought tekken 5 and I love it sooo much. never heard of darkstalkers, though it sounds somewhat familiar. I remember bloody roar. that was a sweet game. I bought battle arena toshinden 3 which is a sweet game if you like mindless button mashing and one button special moves.

Oops, let's try this again...I clicked "send" instead of "post reply"...LOL. Anyways...I think the questions in post 6 were aimed at me. If I'm mistaken; I do oppologize! I play mainstream games on my computer in one of two ways. The first is to use immulators for games such as Mortal Kombat. Those I use my ears and play with no assistance; except to learn where options are, ETC. There is also the games I mentioned that you purchase at Wal-mart. For me the fun games include: Age of Empires, Business Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Diablo, Diablo II, Dark Stone, Sacred, ETC...I play these with sighted assistance. My husband is completely sighted and we love playing these types of games together. He uses his eyes and moves the mouse, and I use my ears and click. It's one of those couple activities that we enjoy as friends.

me and my x would play stuff like that together, though I was more in to them than she was. I recently found emulators, mainly mame which emulates arcade cabinets. I have had tons of fun with capcom bowling and the original mk. Me and some friends play mk3 online together now and then.

mlb the show's been fun except on ps2 I have to aim my pitch int he strike zone which usually results in crushed home runs. I haven't found any settings to fix this, and auto fielding never seems to turn on which usually results in the other team getting in the park home runs on soft line drives. I wish that would happen in real life.

tekken kicks ass. If you have psx, a cool game to find is bushido blade. It's a type of hack and slash.

well, you all are talking to the biggest gamer on here! I play many games for the xbox, and the pc. I'm a huge huge fan of MMORPGS. These include: world of warcraft, guildwars, though I wouldn't recomend this one because you are always downloading stuff. I also play runescape. For the consul games I have about 25 starwars games and a few more. I aAs for soul calabar, I want to get the fourth instalment because you are going to see the most unlikely charactors in this updated game. Darth vador and yoda! Can you believe it? I also would like to more about battle arena and a bit more about techan. As you can see I'm a huge fan of vidio games!want to get a xbox 360 just for halo 3!

Yes, Battle Arena Toshindin is an awesome game. I liked all three, and even own the anime. Another good game is Guilty Gear X. As for Soul Calibur 4, I'm not liking the fact that they're putting Star Wars Characters in the mix. I'm sure they won't have any direct impact on the storyline itself, but these characters just don't really fit in.
